Our Gradues of ›life‹ ´14 – Part 2

DSC_0162bHi, my name is David and I am from Mexico. I am working at the department business performance controlling. Before I started the Dräger graduate program I have studied for a BSc. in Financial Management in Mexico and a MSc. in International Finance in France. During my academic career I was able to study abroad in various countries such as: Thailand, Canada, the US, Spain and the UK. I have had the opportunity to participate in challenging internships in international companies affording me the possibility to develop my finance skills. During one of these experiences, I also was responsible to design a business plan for the creation of a new company that would be listed in the stock exchange. This allowed me to have a close contact with real-world controlling projects, igniting my interest in making a career out of it.

Because of the international focus, the challenging tasks and the guiduing principe  ›Technology for life‹ my choice for the Dräger graduate program was the next consequential step in my career. To be graduate at Dräger means for me learning from others to strengthen personal as well as professional skills. Moreover I can make a difference in the projects I am working on during my time here in Lübeck.

DSC_0155bMy name is Hanna and I am from Germany. At the moment I work in the controlling department at our Dräger headquarter here in Lübeck. Beforehand I studied European Business at the technical University in Aachen, the Universidad de Alicante and the Mid Sweden University in Östersund where I also graduated with a Master’s degree in Business Administration. During my studies I had the chance to gain experiences in various internships in different sectors such as consulting, development cooperation and retail business. Before I joined Dräger, I worked as a project manager in a company operating in the international travel retail market where I was mainly involved in international SAP-Rollouts and related process harmonisations. I also gained international experience by spending one year during high school in Paraguay and a 4-month internship in Nepal. During my last job I recognized that the area I was most interested in is controlling. Therefore I decided to develop further in this area. Luckily I found out about the ›life‹ program, I applied in March 2014 and I was very happy, that 2 month after I could sign my contract at Dräger. Especially the combination of medical technology and safety engineering makes Dräger a great company to work for. It delivers a round portfolio of solutions to support life and reduce human distress.  ›life‹ offers me a great opportunity to engage in this value-oriented corporate culture and in the same way support the company in being economically successful.

DSC_0174bHello, my name is Christoph and my home country is Germany. At the moment I am working in purchasing controlling. I received my master degree in technical business administration at the University of Kiel in 2014. Prior to that I studied management and technology at a university in Heide. During the studies, I focused on Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Controlling. Beside my bachelor studies I had the chance to get my first practical experience with internships at varoius international companys. In addition to that I supported the operative purchasing departement of an automotive supplier as a working student over 2 years. I also gained some international experience during my Work & Travel stay in Australia. Now I feel really happy to start as a graduate at Dräger. To be part of a global  family-owned Company that developes ›Technoloy for life‹ is something hard to find and really worth working for. The graduate program offers me the opportunity to grow in many ways, personal and professionally.
